When people are sick, we go to doctors, when fleshlys are sick they go to veterinarians, often referred to doctors of veterinary medicine. They treat diseased faunas medic totallyy and surgically, as well as diagnoses animals illnesses, gives owners advice on how to care for them, and unfortunately may ask to put them to sleep when necessary (Hopke 694) . Veterinarians are categorised into ii different groups; nonaged animal veterinarians, and large animal veterinarians. A small animal veterinarian works with household pets such as cats or dogs. Large animal veterinarians look at with farm animals homogeneous sheep, cattle, or horses (Veterinarian). Out of those two groups, there is estimated to be 59,000 vets in the United soils (Veterinarians 835). I really want to be a vet because its a job you can be moving around with, like hands on, instead of sitting in an office cooped up all day. I enjoy spending time out of doors and since I would like to be a large animal vet that would be handy. Last but not least, its a great paying job.
