Abstract

There are strict ethical issues that surround not only equityyers alone also employees of law firms which should be covered within a Social Media Policy. In this feasibility study I leave alone review the strict regulations of the Florida Bar Association which surround advertising by law firms and focus on the ethical areas which mustiness be covered within a law firms Social Media Policy. This study will also recognize the process for implementing a Social Media Policy within the law firm.



Overall a Social Media Policy would act as an extension of the model rules of professional conduct and state rules of ethics, as well as, ensure that all members of the law firm are aware of the risks and proper uses of social media sites within the guidelines.
