New Historicism Essay
Today people dont give enough attention to the subject of truth. What is truth? Well, check to the New Historicism theory, nothing is truth but only something that you accept the truth is. I totally agree with that because if you think well-nigh it, you can happen what it truly means.
To help understand the theory, I want to explain how I try it, what it really means. In my opinion, what this means is that the truth is only what you decide it to be, and there is no truth at all, for example if someone tells you something, that may or may not be a lie, it is you who chooses to believe in it, and it is you who decide if the lie is actually the truth, and if the truth actually is a lie. If someone tells you he has a helicopter, it is your responsibility to trust that point of reference or not. Which means that all the history we know cover now might be just a mammoth lie, Im not saying that everything is a lie, that wouldnt be possible, but for example the small facts could be make up and the history we know might be touch by made up things, and we choose to believe in them.
Lets look at life right now, we are surrounded by lies we make truths, for instance, take a look at the judicial system. What do we see on every exertion?
There are two sides, the lawyers and the prosecution, the lawyers try to make the gauge see their truth, and the prosecution wants to make the judge see another truth. So if the judge chooses to believe in the truth of the prosecution and the prosecution is actually wrong, it is not the defacement of the lawyers that failed to make the judge see their perspective of the case, it is the fault of the judge, who was otiose to see the actual truth, even after being effrontery full ability to see it.
