The sky was overcast, showing signs that rain would soon start move down. My friends and I were at Siloso Beach, our usual rendezvous, celebrating the end of our GCE O Level Examination. It had been a stressful year for us and we were glad to finally be able to un vagabond and throw our books aside. We were having such a wondrous time acting out in the open sea that it did cross our minds that we should be heading for the shore soon. Little did we have that we were going to pay the price for the lack of awareness of the overture downpour.
