What is inclusion as it pertains to Special Education? In the memoir of this countrys education system, most children with disabilities did not go to school for two main reasons: they were not well authentic and there were no accommodations made for them. There were few children that go to school but were misclassified as having disabilities because they were from other cultures or unknown countries. In 1975 Congress enacted Public Law 94-142 which was created to set out either students with disabilities be able to go to school and have circumscribed education provided for them. In 2004 Congress revamped PL 94-142 to what we now know as Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or IDEA for short. IDEA benefits children from parenthood through to age 21 and is comprised of two parts, Parts B and C. Turnbull, et al states that the purpose of IDEA is to ensure that all students with disabilities have a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive setting. (2010, pg. 9) Inclusion was implemented using the possibility tail assembly IDEA of the least restrictive environment. Inclusion makes it viable for children with any disability to be placed in general classrooms with students without any disabilities so that they have the opportunity to learn in a normal, less restrictive environment.

The main objective behind inclusion education is that all students in a school, disregardless of their strengths and their weaknesses in any area, become part of the school residential area (Marlborough, 2007).
