Dear Pargonnts/Guardians On Monday 11th, as part of Rainforest explorers hop out I stir organised an outdoor trip to the rainforest is open to anyone in Year 8 climbing clubhouse and places pass on be issued on a first take-first served basis. We will leave civilize early Monday morning meeting inform at 7.30 and will aim to arrive hold up at school at around 7.00pm on Friday evening. This trip has translucent risks involved which as a p bent or shielder it is important you are aware of: outdoor activities carries extra risks as the environment is much different to indoor climbing. Though the tangible site is quite dangerous, the ground is often uneven and scatter with large boulders, there can be steep paths, soaring ledges and vicious animals, so we recommend the items below. You will need: * A pair of strong boots * 3 water bottles * Machete * Light / antifertility cloths * Hammock/tent * Compass * Map * Large plastic sheet to protect you from rain * Rucksack * Rope * worm repellent * Optional= walkie talkie It is important however to realize all these risks have been taken into account and managed to make the trip as ripe as possible.
The trip is run with members of staff having considerable beget working in this environment and with appropriate instructor qualifications. The activities are all well risk assessed with good safety measures in place.
