In 1966, psychologist William Schutz came up with a hypothesis stating in order to make and keep a blood they must meet three grassroots demand. Those necessarily were affection, inclusion, and control. However, in 1968 Abraham Maslow proposed that we communicate to meet a range of human needs. Maslow believed that the basic needs must be satisfied before we throne focus on those that atomic number 18 more abstract (Julia T. wood 2010).
Maslows Hierarchy of needs begins with the most basic needs such as air, sleep, water, and food which are considered to be the corporal call for of survival. Physical unavoidably is the first direct of needs. Although they are considered to be the basics there are most unquestionably a necessity in order to live.
The game train would be safety needs. Safety Needs are those that retard humans from being harmed. It is what keeps us safe and allows us to get it on and live in a safe environment. Safety Needs are important besides but they are non as demanding as the Physical Needs. Examples of Safety Needs would be health insurance, shelter, security from law enforcement, or safe neighborhoods.
The trine level of the Hierarchy is the Belonging Needs. Belonging Needs also known as Social Needs. Once the first and second level needs are met by large, the third level appears. People begin to feel the need to have friends, stick part of social groups, and community
organizations. At this level there is a need of affirmation, acceptance, and the desire to be other people.
As we assume up Maslows Hierarchy we find Self-Esteem Needs. These needs are important as well. The Self Esteem Needs consists of things such as achievement, independence, dominance, and prestige. The Esteem needs are for a higher position within a group. If people prise us, we have greater power (Changing Minds 2002).
