Introduction
Before I start I want you to look around you greet everyone right? All these faces you see at least in one case a week if not more. Now, close your eyes and sway all that you know about them and for perish it. Can you do it? I cant. So now try to surmise forgetting everything you know about your spouse, your children, relatives, even your own name! non a great feeling is it?
Thesis: When German mendelevium Alos Alzheimer first described Alzheimers distemper (pronounced Alt-sigh-merz) in 1907 the disease was considered a rare disorder. Today Alzheimers disease is recognized as the just about common form of aberration in developed countries. So if Alzheimers disease is a form of dementia then what is dementia?
Dementia derives from the Latin de mens, out of mind. It has come to imply a deterioration of a persons intellectual, emotional and cognitive abilities, causing difficulty with daily functioning.
