I realize that people often take their nurture for granted. Many blow off their homework, ditch class, and spend more than of their time partying instead of studying. Fortunately, I have never had those, so called, luxuries. Growing up, my two childs and I never had the best of anything. My parents break when I was very young, and living with my mother we never had oft money. Neither of my parents went to college, and they pushed the idea on me and my sisters. Ever since I back tooth remember my mother would sit down with me and read. She would point stunned the states on a map and have me name them. schoolhouse was always important in our household. At school I remember my friends saying, Im not going to college, I hate school. I remember speculateing to myself, You have a choice? Not going to college or not close high school was not an option for me, and it was nothing I had ever considered. I listened to my parents, and I never questioned the vastness of what they were saying. I never thought about how important an education was to me, barely what it was to my family. I feel I really realized the importance of my education when I was about 15 years old. My oldest sister and I have always been extremely close.
